TERMINALIS combines dispatching, operational control, visualization, and analysis in one central platform—for maximum transparency and efficient terminal operations.

The system was created based on a specific customer requirement. The goal was an intelligent dispatching system for bus terminals featuring timeline visualization, flexible reporting, and a modern architecture.

Together with futurebrains, we developed a modular, ready-to-use terminal control system—TERMINALIS—within a very short time.

 

TERMINALIS enables:

  • Dispatching of bus bays and parking areas
  • Long-term and daily schedule management
  • Automatic conflict detection for overbookings
  • Transparent display of all assignments in an interactive timeline view
  • Flexible analyses and exports at the touch of a button

It controls all relevant processes centrally—clearly visualized and immediately relevant for decision-making.

 

TERMINALIS is based on a scalable, modern technology architecture:

  • Frontend: Angular
  • Backend: Node.js
  • REST API
  • Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Central database

The system has a fully modular design. It can be operated independently or integrated into the Funkwerk Mobility Platform as a third-party module.

 

TERMINALIS securely exchanges data via defined interfaces with:

  • Display and passenger information systems
  • Display management
  • Sensor systems
  • Reporting and analysis systems

This creates end-to-end processes ranging from dispatching and passenger information to strategic evaluation.

Flexible analyses instead of rigid reports

TERMINALIS relies on AI-supported functions for individual dashboards and exports.
Instead of predefined filters or fixed report structures, users formulate their requirements directly.

Examples:
• “Show all platform conflicts for next Monday.”
• “Export the utilization per bus bay for the last quarter.”
• “When were the peak times for each platform?”

The system automatically generates the appropriate evaluation. This is prepared in a structured format for the operator and can be exported.
