Our Approach

Modular. Reliable. Expandable.
The LED-based DPI system is being implemented under long-term framework contracts and continuously expanded. So far, we have installed over 130 LED displays with various line configurations, integrated clock displays, and optional text-to-speech function at stops throughout Leipzig. The connection to LVB’s central control system enables automated and reliable real-time information for passengers.

System components overview

  • Double-sided LED departure displays
5-line (224 × 80 pixels) and 8-line (224 × 128 pixels), Grid size: 5.5 mm for optimal readability, Integrated clock display, Pole mounting with/without roof cantilever
  • Text-to-Speech (TTS)
Automatic reading function and live announcements via the central control room at selected locations
  • Data connection
Central control and connection to the LVB control system via ISC control computer and PACOS protocol
  • Technical implementation
Installation, commissioning, integration into existing infrastructure

Innovation with foresight

The modular system design, high display quality, and flexible audio output create a barrier-free information solution that can be continuously expanded – tailored to the mobility needs in Leipzig.

Success record
