The LED-based DPI system is being implemented under long-term framework contracts and continuously expanded. So far, we have installed over 130 LED displays with various line configurations, integrated clock displays, and optional text-to-speech function at stops throughout Leipzig. The connection to LVB’s central control system enables automated and reliable real-time information for passengers.
Since 2015, we have been supporting Leipzig public transport company (LVB) in the gradual expansion of a dynamic passenger information system (DPI). The project’s goal is to establish a modern, barrier-free information platform with high system availability.
