In addition to digital display systems with text-to-speech functionality and a video wall, the project also included extensive construction services and the furnishing of the new bus station. For smooth and automated information flow, all components were connected to the central control system of WSW mobil.
As part of the new construction of the central bus station at Döppersberg in Wuppertal, we took on the role of general contractor for implementing an integrated passenger information system. The goal was to equip the high-traffic transport hub in front of the main train station with a modern, barrier-free, and networked information system while simultaneously expanding the DFI system already installed in the urban area – with a total of 49 double-sided displays, implemented as LED departure displays on poles or large overview steles – each with TTS.
