The Digital Pedestrian Guidance System offers a completely new concept for dynamic visitor guidance in city centers. With a combination of intelligently networked components – including rotatable directional arrows, high-resolution LED displays, and a mobile website – the system creates clear orientation while enhancing the quality of stay in urban spaces.

Whether it’s event information, points of interest, or distance indicators: The digital steles have high visibility in urban spaces and become digital interfaces between the city, visitors, and current events.

Dynamic Signpost

Smart steles with digital display
Each stele is equipped with three arrows that can rotate nearly 360 degrees, automatically aligning themselves to the currently displayed destination. The arrows contain double-sided RGB LED displays (100 × 25 cm) with high resolution and excellent readability – even in direct sunlight or from up to 20 meters away.
Thanks to georeferencing, the arrows align in real-time. Visitors thus receive not only the direction but also precise distance information and additional details about the destination.

Mobile extension as added value
An integrated QR code on each stele leads directly to the system’s mobile website. This site is designed to be accessible and multilingual, providing detailed information on events or attractions, direct links to online ticket purchases, and information on restaurants and adjacent city districts.

Technical Highlights

The Digital Pedestrian Guidance System combines modern electrical engineering, innovative mechanics, and a unique design in a modular structure. It blends harmoniously into the cityscape and is much more than just a signpost: It makes events visible, invites exploration, and enhances the quality of stay in city centers. As a digital stage for current content, it actively contributes to the revitalization of squares, shopping streets, and urban experience spaces.
