Depending on your static specifications, legal readability requirements (TSI-PRM) or even the climatic conditions, Funkwerk will tailor the right solution for you – from TFT and LCD to LED technology. The shape, features and design of our displays are customised for each project.
All our TSI-PRM-compliant information boards are accessible. For example, passengers with visual impairments can press a button (stamped in Braille) to have texts read aloud. Our solutions are also suitable for wheelchair users and people of smaller stature, who often have difficulties reading texts displayed at greater heights. By pressing the button with the wheelchair symbol, the information scrolls down to eye level.
The functionality and durability of our technology is ensured through regular maintenance. Any necessary maintenance and repairs are carried out by our in-house, certified experts or our partner companies. Needless to say, we always keep cost-effectiveness in mind: As our modular system uses standard components, individual parts can usually be exchanged without any problems.

We always ensure an optimal operating temperature by using heaters, fans and heat exchangers. As the backlight brightness can be regulated depending on the ambient lighting, the system has a longer service life.

Our energy-efficient displays are fitted with IR and UV filters, and air circulates inside them to prevent condensation forming on the protective pane – passenger information is always legible.
Safety first
The displays made by Funkwerk are fitted with laminated glass. In the event of damage, some of the panes can be replaced separately.
